1440-REX03-04RG Voted EODS Relay Module
The 1440-REX03-04RG XM-442 Voted EODS Relay Module is an electronic safety device designed for overspeed protection applications compliant with API 670 ("Machinery Protection Systems") and API 612 ("Special-purpose Steam Turbines") standards. This safety module typically operates in conjunction with three XM-220 monitoring modules, each detecting specific critical failure conditions. When any two of the three XM-220 signals become active, the 1440-REX03-04RG module automatically initiates process shutdown and activates alarm notifications without any user-configurable parameters. The system provides fail-safe protection for critical rotating equipment in petroleum, petrochemical, and natural gas applications.
