About IC697PWR710N
The IC697PWR710 operates when connected to an external AC or DC power source specifically, 90-264 VAC at frequency of 47-63 Hz or 100-150 VDC. The module’s input power is maximum of 90 Watts at full load, input half cycle peak inrush of 3 Amperes, typical and power factor of greater that .95. It deliver a maximum output power of 56 Watts and nominal output voltage of 5.1 VDC with an output voltage range of4.90-5.25 VDC.
The IC697PWR710 has an integral overvoltage and overcurrent limits, specifically, 6.2 Volts, typical which is provided by the internal electronic voltage protection and 12 Amperes, typical via the integral electronic current limit. This power supply is also features a ride through time of 21 ms from loss of AC input and designed in compatibility with VME standard C.1.
The IC697PWR710 comes with a ground terminal that can be used for improving system noise immunity. Use an American Wire Gauge (AWG) #12 or 3.3 mm2 wire for establishing connection to the module ground terminal. This module GND terminal is intended to be connected to the rack GND terminal which is then designed to be connected to a functional earth GND. Tighten connections at Torque of 12 in-lb or 1.3 N-m and only use copper conductors with temperature rating of 75 Degree Celsius.
